New York real estate solutions, designed.

Finding your New York home is about more than square footage and price. It's about light, flow, character, and the feeling you get when you walk through your own front door. Jason Mezydlo brings two worlds together for you: a seasoned command of the New York City market and a trained designer's eye. The result is a search built around you, and a home that truly fits the way you live.

A Designer's Eye

Before real estate, Jason studied at the Harrington College of Design, and he has brought that training to New York City real estate since 2012. He can sketch a floor plan on the spot, space-plan a room in his head, and show you what an apartment could become, not just what it is today.

For you, that means fewer surprises and better decisions. Jason can tell you whether that awkward corner will actually hold your dining table, which wall might open up the layout, and whether a space will live the way you need it to. He sees potential where others see problems, flags the problems others miss, and when your plans call for it, connects you with the architects, designers and contractors he trusts.

What Jason Does

Sales

Whether you're buying or selling, Jason guides you through one of the most important financial decisions of your life, from the first showing to the closing table, with clear advice and a steady hand.

For sellers

Jason uses his design training to show your home at its best. He'll advise you on staging, from simple edits and furniture placement to light, color, and finishing touches, so buyers can picture themselves living there. He organizes open houses and private showings around your schedule and handles every detail, so selling your home fits into your life instead of taking it over.

Development

Looking for a property to build on, convert, or reposition? Jason helps you find development opportunities, then walks you through what a site can and can't become: zoning and air rights, layout and unit mix, renovation scope, and the challenges to plan for. Working alongside your architect, attorney, and lender, he helps you shape a project built for the strongest return.

Jason starts by understanding your goals, budget, and timeline, then helps you weigh each site against them. He looks at what the zoning allows, how a building could be reconfigured, and where design can add value, and he's candid about the hurdles, from approvals to construction costs, so you can make an informed decision before you commit.

Commercial

Office, retail, and creative space for your business, because where you work shapes how you work and how your brand is seen.

From a first office to a flagship storefront, Jason helps you weigh location, foot traffic, layout, and lease terms. His space-planning background means he can show you how your team or your customers will actually move through a space before you sign.

The Story Behind the Address

New York's buildings tell stories, and Jason knows how to read them. From Brooklyn brownstones and prewar Manhattan classics to cast-iron lofts and modern glass towers, he understands the architecture and the history behind them: how a building was made, what makes it distinctive, and why that matters for how it lives and how it holds its value.

That knowledge helps you appreciate what you're buying and find the rare, special places that don't come along often.

Right for Your Life, Smart for Your Future

Jason's approach starts with you: how you spend your mornings, where you entertain, what makes you feel at home. From there he brings together design sense, architectural knowledge, and market expertise to find homes that reflect your personality and lifestyle.

He also never loses sight of the numbers. Every recommendation is made with an eye toward long-term value, so the home you love is also a sound place to put your money.

"The right home should feel like you the moment you walk in, and still make sense years from now."

Kind Words from Clients

Not only did he save us thousands of dollars with his expert negotiations, but he handled everything and made the process so much less stressful!

Jason was unfazed by meltdowns and even came thru with reinforcements to help keep our kiddo entertained. I would hire him again!!

At Home in South Slope

Jason lives in South Slope, Brooklyn, where he has deep roots in the community. He believes a neighborhood is only as strong as the people who show up for it, and he puts that belief into practice.

Jason created Dionysus is Dead (@dionysusisdead on Instagram), a series of sober events celebrating music, performance, and the arts. The series welcomes people of all ages, with a special focus on young adults. It shows that a great night out doesn't need alcohol, and it gives the sober and sober-curious a place to connect. The events also raised support for local rehab and recovery centers, and the series Jason hosted at Under Minerva Gallery on Fifth Avenue was featured in the Brooklyn Paper.

When he's not working, you'll find Jason in his garden or in his kitchen. He's also an avid knitter, and he loves getting out into New York's arts scene: galleries, performances, and the creative energy that makes this city unlike anywhere else.
